The Village offers a high quality of life for residents, including a low crime rate, top-rated schools, high average home values and vibrant downtown served by its Metra commuter rail station.

For businesses with a regional and global perspective, Clarendon Hills offers an ideal location for access to the Chicago region and beyond. The Village has convenient access to I-88, I-294, I-55, and I-355. In addition, the Village is located between O’Hare and Midway Airports, and the Metra station provides quick access to downtown Chicago.

The Village is home to some of the top-rated schools in the state. Walker ElementaryProspect Elementary, and Clarendon Hills Middle School are located in Clarendon Hills. Many students attend Hinsdale Central High School. In the elementary school district, District 181, more than 95 percent consistently exceed state achievement standards in core subjects, compared to 75 to 85 percent of students across the state. In 2005, Newsweek Magazine ranked Hinsdale Central High School as one of the top 200 schools in the nation. Notre Dame, a private Catholic school that teachers pre-kindergarten through eighth grade, is also located in the Village.

The Village boasts a vibrant community life. The Village Special Events Commission, Clarendon Hills Chamber of Commerce, and the Clarendon Hills Park District host a number of seasonal events throughout the year. Dancin’ in the Street, Daisy Days, Christmas Walk and Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony all take place in downtown Clarendon Hills and attract people from across the Village and beyond. These events also provide additional opportunities for businesses to interact with potential customers.
